El está seleccionado como posible ganador para Artist of the Year, Social Artist of the Year, Hot Latin Songs of the Year, Hot Latin Songs of the Year Vocal Event, Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year Male, Airplay Song of the Year, Digital Song of the Year, Streaming Song of the Year, Hot Latin Album of the Year, Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year Male, Latin Rhythm Artist of the Year Solo y Latin Rhythm Song of the Year.
Los éxitos se siguen acumulando para José -su verdadero nombre-. Desde febrero pasado el interprete de Safari fue nombrado como embajador de TAG Heuer en todo el mundo. Cada vez más vinculado con la moda y el estilo, el mismo eligió esta nueva propuesta que la marca bautizó como TAG Heuer J Balvin Connected Modular 45 Edición Limitada.
En un acto sin precedentes, son tres artistas no latinoamericanos los que los siguen la lista. Justin Bieber tiene 8 nominaciones, Beyoncé siete y el francés Willy William los sigue con seis. Estos números son reflejo de la influencia de la música latina en el mundo durante 2017.
